Important Update
Hurricane Helene Response & Service Cancellation
In light of the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, we've made the difficult decision to cancel our regularly scheduled services tomorrow and through October 5th at least. We know many of you are facing tough choices right now—whether that’s leaving the area, repairing damage, or navigating difficult home situations. We want you to know we’re with you in this.
While we won’t be gathering for formal services, we understand the need for community and support during these trying times. That’s why our Youth Room will be open from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. for anyone who needs a safe space to pray, talk, or simply not feel alone. This will not be a formal service, but a time for fellowship and connection. You’re not alone, and we’re here for you.
Please, make wise decisions regarding travel. If the roads are not safe or if authorities advise against travel in your area, we urge you to turn around and stay where you are. Your safety is our top priority. Follow any instructions from local officials, and do not take unnecessary risks to come to the church. We care about your well-being and want you to be safe.
Our church campus, like many of your homes, has faced some challenges. Thanks to our incredible volunteers, we’ve managed to clear the significant debris, although we’re still dealing with some damage to the courtyard and roof. We’re all in this together, working to rebuild and restore.
Finally, we encourage you to continue supporting the church through digital giving, if you’re able. Your faithfulness makes a difference, especially in times like these, as we strive to recover and move forward.
Please share this update with others who might not see it, and let’s continue to be the hands and feet of Christ, supporting one another in every way we can. We will keep the ANNOUNCEMENT BANNER of our website up to date as more decisions are made.
Stay safe, stay strong, and know that we’re praying for each of you.
