YOUR 2-MINUTE MIRACLE

Revelation 12:11 says, “ And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”  ESV

START WITH THESE SIMPLE QUESTIONS

1.         Briefly, what was your life like before you knew Jesus?

2.         How did you first hear about Jesus?

3.         When did you realize your need for Jesus?

4.         How and when did you surrender your life to Jesus?

5.         What key changes took place in your life after you surrendered to Jesus?

SOME CONSIDERATIONS

- Pray and ask the Lord to give you wisdom, guidance and clarity as you write your story.

- Be realistic.  Don’t suggest that Jesus eliminates problems, but rather that He enables you to live them out with peace and hope.

- Be accurate.  Don’t exaggerate details or be too detailed.

- Avoid “churchy” terminology that may not be understood or translated well.

- Avoid over referencing churches or Christian organizations.

- Emphasize that Jesus made the difference in your life and not a person, church, behavior change, etc.

- Keep in mind that your story should include a clear presentation of the gospel.
